When your two-year-old goes silent in his room for 10 minutes you should always go and check things out. That's what happened today. Jacob went to his room to play. I suddenly realized that I hadn't heard him in about 10 minutes. I found him, his mini Mr. Potato Head, and half the box of wipes all pulled out. When I asked him what he was doing he replied, "Ma, ta hine wipe" in other words Mama Mr. Potato Head needs his hiney wiped. It's pretty bad when you feel the need to get the camera and take a picture for your blog before you get on to your child. Smile Jacob, by the way don't do that again. Is that sending mixed signals?

Silence is never a good sign!
